The one piece here that is not worn. Glass beads and freshwater-look pearls hand-strung along a gold-tone chain about 18 cm long, with a beaded flower at one end and a tassel at the other, so both ends sit outside the book and you can find your place from across a room. It lies flat between pages instead of bulking them out the way a card bookmark does, and it will not fall out of a bag. This is my answer for the person who already owns enough jewellery — a teacher, an aunt, a book club — and it is the easiest thing here to give to someone whose size and taste you do not know. Details and materials
Beaded Bookmark is made from glass beads, freshwater-look pearls, gold-tone chain, tassel finish. Every piece is strung by hand in our Karachi studio, or by our maker in Peshawar for orders in that city, one at a time, so small variations in bead size and placement are part of how it is made rather than a fault.
Care
Lay it flat in the book rather than folding the chain over a page. Wipe the beads and chain gently with a dry cloth. Keep it out of the bathroom — steam is what dulls the gold-tone chain. Do not use it to hold a book open; the chain is a marker, not a clip. Beadwork dislikes water, perfume and hairspray more than anything else — put it on last when you dress, take it off first, and it will keep its shine for years.
Delivery and returns
We make to order, so a piece leaves the studio in one to two working days and reaches most of Pakistan in three to five. Delivery is Rs 200, free over Rs 2,500, and you can pay cash at the door. Something wrong on arrival? Tell us within seven days and we will fix or replace it.

How do I measure my wrist for a bracelet?
Wrap a strip of thread once around your wrist just below the wrist bone, snug but not tight. Mark where the thread meets itself, lay it flat along a ruler, and read the centimetres. That number is your wrist measurement, and it goes in the wrist size box.
What are your bracelet sizes in centimetres?
Small is 15 cm, medium is 17 cm and large is 19 cm, measured as the finished bracelet. Medium fits most adult women. If your wrist falls between two sizes, or you like a looser fit, type your exact measurement in instead and I will make it to that.
Which size should I pick if I am gifting?
Choose medium, 17 cm. It fits most adult women and it is the size I make most often. If you can borrow a bracelet she already wears, measure it flat and send me the number on Instagram. A sizing swap within 7 days of delivery costs nothing.
What if the bracelet arrives too tight or too loose?
Message me on Instagram within 7 days of delivery and I will resize it. Elastic pieces get restrung to your measurement, clasp pieces get links added or taken out. Send it back unworn and I remake it and post it out, so you only cover the return postage.
