Gifts Under Rs 500 for Her in Pakistan

What can you actually buy for under Rs 500 in Pakistan?

Under Rs 500 you can buy a small, genuinely well-made thing: a handmade beaded bracelet, a good notebook, a plant, a quarter kilo of mithai, a decent chocolate bar, a bookmark, a candle. What you cannot buy is a scaled-down version of an expensive thing, and trying is where budget gifts go wrong.

Every price in this post is approximate. Prices differ between Karachi, Lahore and a smaller city, they move with the season, and anything imported moves with the exchange rate. Treat the ranges as a guide for planning, then check before you buy.

One rule sits underneath all of it: a small thing chosen for a specific person reads as thoughtful, and Rs 300 spent on something she actually uses lands better than Rs 1,500 spent on something generic.

Why is Rs 200 to Rs 500 the sweet spot?

Rs 200 to Rs 500 is high enough to buy something made with care and low enough that nobody feels they owe you a gift back, which is what makes it the right range for colleagues, cousins, friends and the small occasions in between.

It is also the range where handmade genuinely competes. Above Rs 2,000 you are competing with brands, imports and gold. Under Rs 500 the choice is between something mass produced and something a person made, and the handmade thing usually wins on both looks and story.

There is a practical reason too. At this price you can put two or three small things together, which almost always feels more generous than one item at the same total.

Twelve gift ideas under Rs 500

The list runs roughly from cheapest to dearest, and the prices are approximate figures for Pakistani cities in 2026 rather than quotes.

  • A small potted plant. A money plant, a succulent or a jade in a plain pot, roughly Rs 150 to Rs 400 from a local nursery. Cheap, alive, and it keeps reminding her of you.
  • Good chocolate. An imported bar or a small box, roughly Rs 200 to Rs 450. Not the ones from the checkout counter.
  • A handmade beaded bracelet. Ours start at Rs 220 for the Daisy Charm Chain Bracelet, woven by hand in Karachi and sized S, M or L.
  • A lip balm or hand cream. A decent one from a pharmacy, roughly Rs 250 to Rs 500. Boring to buy, quietly appreciated all winter.
  • A cotton tote bag. Printed or plain, roughly Rs 250 to Rs 450. Useful for anyone who carries more than a handbag holds.
  • A beaded bookmark. Ours is Rs 280, hand-strung in pinks, lilac and pearl. For the reader who dog-ears pages and feels guilty about it.
  • A secondhand book. Rs 200 to Rs 500 at Urdu Bazaar in Karachi, Anarkali in Lahore, or any pavement stall. Choose the title carefully and it stops being a cheap gift.
  • A pair of earrings. Small jhumkas or beaded studs, roughly Rs 200 to Rs 500 at a local market or from a small maker.
  • A good notebook. A hardbound A5 with paper that does not bleed, roughly Rs 250 to Rs 500. Better than three cheap ones.
  • A scented candle. Small jar, roughly Rs 300 to Rs 500 from a local candle maker, often less than the mall version.
  • A printed dupatta. Roughly Rs 350 to Rs 500 for lawn or cotton at a market, more for anything fancier. Know her colours before trying this one.
  • A box of mithai. Quarter to half a kilo from a good local halwai, roughly Rs 300 to Rs 500 depending on the shop and the sweet. Never the wrong answer at Eid.

Does the Rs 200 delivery charge ruin a Rs 300 gift?

It does if you buy one small thing, which is why delivery is free on orders over Rs 2,500 and why most people ordering gifts buy two or three pieces at once.

The arithmetic is simple. One bracelet at Rs 320 plus Rs 200 delivery is Rs 520, and the delivery is 38 percent of what you paid. Three bracelets at Rs 320 plus the same Rs 200 is Rs 1,160, and the delivery is 17 percent. Nothing about the charge changes; it just stops dominating.

If you are buying for several people at once, an Eid round or a set of bridesmaids, it is worth putting the whole order through together and crossing Rs 2,500 so delivery disappears entirely. We accept cash on delivery and bank transfer, so nothing has to go on a card.

When should I order so it arrives in time?

Order at least a week before you need it if you are outside Karachi, and at least four working days if you are in Karachi.

The timing has two parts. It takes me 1 to 2 working days to make and pack a piece, because these are strung by hand and not pulled off a shelf. Then the courier takes 1 to 2 days within Karachi, 2 to 3 to major hubs like Lahore, Islamabad and Multan, and 3 to 4 or more to smaller cities and outlying areas. Our delivery page lists the window for each city we ship to.

That means a Karachi order placed on a Monday usually arrives Wednesday or Thursday. A Quetta or Mingora order placed on Monday is more realistically the following week. Add buffer around Eid and public holidays, when couriers slow down and everyone is sending something.

If you have left it too late, say so when you order. I cannot make the courier faster, but I can move your piece to the front of my making queue, which sometimes buys back a day.

Do you gift wrap?

Every piece arrives on a printed Luxe by Zee card inside its packaging, which most people hand over exactly as it is, and we can include a short handwritten note if you ask for one in the order notes.

There is no paid gift-wrap service, and no charge for the note. Write what you want it to say in the order note field at checkout, or send it to us on Instagram after ordering, and mention if the parcel is going straight to the recipient so we keep the price off the outside.

For cash on delivery orders going to someone else, remember that the recipient pays the courier at the door. If that is awkward, pay by bank transfer instead and the parcel arrives with nothing to settle.

What if I want to spend a little more than Rs 500?

Between Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, the best move is usually two pieces rather than one dearer piece: a bracelet and the bookmark, or two stacking bracelets in colours that work together.

Above Rs 1,000, a custom piece becomes worth considering. Send her colours, an initial, or a photo of something she already wears through our custom order form and we will quote before making anything. Custom work takes longer than stock, so allow an extra few days on top of the delivery windows above.

And if it turns out to be wrong, our returns policy gives you 7 days from delivery to ask for an exchange or refund on unworn pieces with tags attached. Sale items and scarves are final sale.

Common questions

What is a good gift for her under Rs 500 in Pakistan?
A handmade beaded bracelet is the strongest option, because it is personal, lasts, and starts around Rs 220. Close behind are a beaded bookmark, a small potted plant, a good hardbound notebook, or a quarter kilo of mithai from a proper halwai. All sit comfortably inside the budget.
How much does jewellery delivery cost in Pakistan?
We charge Rs 200 flat to any city in Pakistan, and delivery is free on orders over Rs 2,500. Payment is cash on delivery or bank transfer. If you are buying gifts for several people, ordering them together is usually cheaper than placing separate small orders.
How early should I order a gift before Eid?
Allow at least a week outside Karachi and four working days inside it, then add a few days more in the fortnight before Eid. Couriers run slower under that load. Making and packing takes us 1 to 2 working days, and transit is 1 to 5 working days depending on the city.
Can I send the gift straight to the recipient?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and mention in the order note that it is a gift, and we will leave the price off the outside of the parcel. If you are paying cash on delivery the recipient pays the courier, so bank transfer is usually the better choice for a surprise.
